The Easter Season at FPC
Palm Sunday Worship, March 24 at 10:30 am.
Worship begins outside. We’ll process in together with palm, recalling Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.
Our annual “EGGstavaganza!” egg-dyeing event takes place after Worship. We’ll share a light meal and then get down to business. Bring hard-boiled eggs–we’ll provide the rest.
Maundy Thursday Worship, March 28, 7:00 pm. We’ll recall Jesus’ solemn meal with his disciples and his command to “love one another as I have loved you.” The evening begins with a light meal at 6:15 pm.
Good Friday Worship, March 29, at noon and again at 7:00 pm. We recall Jesus’ suffering and death.
Easter Sunday Worship, March 31. We’ll celebrate two identical services, at 8:30 am and again at 10:30 am. Children will gather for an Easter egg hunt at 9:45 am. Sound the trumpet! Jesus is risen!
Lenten Health and Hygiene Drive. Every Lent, we collect items for the clients of the Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs–sanitary items for females, bars of soap, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, laundry detergent, hand and body lotions, bathroom tissue, and diapers (larger sizes such as 4, 5, and 6 and most often requested). Please bring your contributions to Heritage Hall.
